Chaos Engine is a shooter seen from above, like Mercs, with possibility to choose between several characters to go killing enemies and collecting money.
The game takes place in different regions, from cities to swamps, sewers and wtf,  unfortunately is so hard I could barely reach the third stage.

In the U.S. this game is called SOLDIERS OF FORTUNE.

What happens is this: the player chooses his character and another to help because the game is only playable in two, either a friend or the CPU controlling your partner. The goal is go killing and collecting items and keys to go his way until the end of the stage.

The characters are very varied, ranging from the mutant hunters, warriors and other beasts (you can see the cover), all crazy for money. The game plot is bizarre, something that involves genetic mutations and a bizarre creation of European government.

The game has a tremendous depth, with solid control and a nice gameplay to play.

One thing that was lacking was shoot and walk at the same time, but nothing that can steal the fun provided by the game.

At the end of each stage you can buy new items, improve weapon, buy life and energy, and so on, all using the money from the slaughtered enemies in stages.

If you play with a friend, the fun is even greater.

Recommended!

Final Score: 8.0
